Study on the Implementation of Ground Symbol Recognition in Terrain Maps
Studies methods of recognizing ground symbols in relief maps to extract data that residential symbols represent. According to the features of residential areas, data are extracted by transforming, tracing polygon, and extracting vertices of polygons. Using the above methods, data from ground symbols can readily be collected.
