Design of A Practical Embedded DSP Vision Tracker

  • A practical embedded vision tracker for tracking objects was designed. An independent module of vision tracker was developed by using TMS320C32 DSP as CPU and OV7610 as camera chip first. The object tracking algorithm was set up based on the Kanade Lucas optical flow technique, pyramid data structure and heuristic searching algorithm for searching and tracking objects efficiently. Using regular DSP, objects can be tracked in real time.
