One-Pot Synthesis of Hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane
To study the modified preparation of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane(HNIW), HNIW was prepared by one pot method with tetraacetyl dibenzylhexaazaisowurtzitane as starting material. The reaction yield was up to 82%, and the purity of HNIW was up to 98% by HPLC. Three kinds of intermediates such as tetraacetyldinitrosohexaazaisowurtzitane, benzaldehyde, and benzoic acid, were separated and identified.
