Antiplane Problems of a Rigid Conducting Line Inclusion at the Interface Between Two Piezoelectric Materials

Abstract
Electroelastic behaviors of piezoelectric bimaterials with an interfacial rigid conducting inclusion were studied. Antiplane problems considered, by means of superposition, were separated into a uniform field and an auxiliary field, which can be determined by solving resulting boundary value problem with the help of the solutions of dual integral equations. The entire electroelastic field and the asymptotic field near the inclusion tip were obtained under four types of combined mechanical and electric loading at infinity, respectively, and the singularity coefficients for all quantities were given explicitly. Stresses, straines, electric displacements and electric fields exhibit the inverse square root singularity near the inclusion tip.
