A TMS320C6x Based Digital Signal Processor for Frequency-Modulated Stepping Radar Signal

  • To investigate the realization of the frequency modulated radar signal processing, which uses chirp signal as the in burst pulse in a frequency stepped pulse string, the signal processing algorithm was analyzed, then the finite word length effect caused by TMS320C6201 was analyzed. The signal processing was realized on a platform based on TMS320C6201, and solution to the finite word length effect was proposed. By using frequency modulated radar signal, high range resolution can be implemented.
