Testing Study on Vibration Isolation Characteristics of the Rocking Vibration Isolation System

  • To study the vibration isolation characteristic of the rocking vibration isolation system of track vehicular power-train, the principle of dynamic similitude was used to design and make a test model of the system. The theories of the rocking vibration isolation system were developed. Five kinds of modal tests were perforrned. The one-stage system's decreasing rate of transmissibility is 12 dB/oct and the two-stage system's is 24 dB/oct. The results of the tests are in accordance with the theoretical analyses. The rocking systems have superior features and the two-stage system is better.
