Design and Realization of a High Frequency Oscillator

Aim To design and realize a high frequency oscillator used in high speed data acquisition system. Methods The microstrip transmission line and multiple anti jamming methods were used in designing, and signal integrity analysis and software simulation based on input/output buffer information specification(IBIS) models were adopted. Results An output result from the high frequency oscillator viewed by the oscilloscope was given. The system is capable of outputting two differential ECL signals of 500 MHz or the frequency from some signal generator. Conclusion The system works steadily and meets the performance requirement.
