Numerical Analysis of Secondary Bifurcations of Thermal Convertional Flow in Porous Media

  • Aim To give a numerical analysis of secondary bifurcations of thermal convertional flow in porous media. Methods The method is based on an extended equations which do not involve the dynamic equations and auxiliary parameter. Results The dependences of Rayleigh number, flow and temperature fields in the secondary bifurcation points on the aspect ratio of rectanguler porous media were obtained. Conclusion The method is effective in determining the points of secondary bifurcations of thermal convertional flow in porous media.
