Aim To carry out research on data analysis and management of vehicle body CAD Methods The main method was O O (object oriented) The steps of database O O modeling were presented by means of the analysis and design of vehicle body engineering database The rules of transforming the O O model to relational database model were also presented Results The vehicle body CAD database and its management system were established Conclusion The practice shows that the vehicle body CAD database established by means of O O method can support the body design course easily
