Study of Special Property and Design Criteria of Air Damped Mechanism for Fuzes

The simplified analysis solutions for motion differential and integral equation group of air damped mechanism for fuzes have been discussed in order to meet the need of air damped mechanism engineering design. The time precision of mechanism have been also studied. The law of minimum motion distance has been pointed out. The main possible cause for M758 fuze delay time dispersion error has been discussed.
