  • The smoke suppression and flame retardancy of flexible PVC formula-tions blended with some metallic compounds and fillers by using some parametersderived from cone calorimeter were investigated. The result showed that they havegood effects of smoke suppression and flame retardancy on flexible PVC formula-tions, and smoke ratio(SR) decreased with rate of heat release(RHR)increasing.When the mixtures of some metallic compounds were added to flexible PVC formu-lations, the effects of the smoke suppression and flame retardancy got better.
