A New Algorithm of Characteristics Registrstion

Through an analysis of the characteristics registration algorithm a simplified algorithm is given that can retain the merits of the original algorithm. With it the time of computation can be much reduced . A digital image processing system is developed making use of TMS320C40-40 and the simplified characteristic registration algorithm implemented on this system. The tracking stability of the system is verified experimentally when the light illumination is changed.
