Adaptive Filtering of Random Noise and Its Application in Radar Target Discrimination

Describes the principle of target discrimination using waveform synthesis and methods of E-pulse and S-pulse implementation. A new discrimination parameter and scheme is presental. To reduce the effect of random noise in radar return signal on the target discrimination adaptive filtering of uncorrelated random noise is introduced together with its application on radar target discrimination. Simulation tests has verified that it can much improve the peformance of target discrimination.
