A Study on the Exchange Electric Field in the Fabrication of Planar Microlens Arrays by Electric Field-Assisted Ion-Exchange

  • Binary diffusion theory is used to analyse electric field assisted ion-exchange.The diffusion equations are solved numerically for the problem of the gradient index planar microlens arrays in glasses.The influence of the openings'size,exchange duration,applied electric voltage and the interaction of the neighbouring elements in the array are analysed with the model of ionic current field.
