On the Stability of Equilibrium of the Constrained Birkhoffian System
Establishes the equations of motion and of equilibrium for a constrained Birkhoffian spstem, studies the stability of equilibrium of the spstem using the Liapunov's direct method and the first approximation method, and gives an example to illustrate applications of the result.
