The Investigation on Interfacial Properties of Model Bonding Agents Gumstock for Nitramine Filled Propellants

Abstract
The sessible drop method has has used to study interfacial properties of substitute amide bonding agents gumstocks and and neutral polymeric bonding agent(NPBA) gumstocks. Comparing calculation results with tensile properties of model propellant composite using substituted amide bonding agents, it is found that the inversible adhesion work Wadh of bonding agents gumstock is a good parameter for characterizing the effect of bonding agents on improving tensile properties of solid propellants. The effect of NPBA on improving tensile properties of propellants can also be deduced by using Wadh.
