Effects of New Burning Rate Catalysts on the Pressure Exponents of NEPE Solid Propellant

A number of new burning rate catalysts have ho synthesized and identified .Their effect on the combustion behaviors of NEPE propellant have been studied. It is found that some leadcontaining catalysts, such as CAP and TAP, exhibited good compatibility with the propellant components and effectively brought down the pressure exponents to 0.58, which reached the same level as in the U S references reported.
