Application of the Technique of Virtual Reality in a Systems of Control for Helicopter

  • With increased carrying capacity and fighting capability of armed helicopters, the driver cabin of the armed helicopter is being transformed from double driver cabin to single dirver cabin. While, the pilot's fuction is not only to drive the helicopter, but also to perform navigation,weapons operation, communication and so on. This ariticlebriefly discusses the role of the virtual man-machine interface in the control system of the armed helicopter (single driver cabin), and explores the critical technique of virtual reality man-machine interface (including the AI technique, direct display, speech input/output and man-machine engineering).
