Applications of Mutilmedia Information and Technology in Database Systems

Describes the specific reuirements for multimedia database information management.It introduces the object-oriented database as a way of solution and a series of microsoft standards and techniques, e.g.the OLE, ODBC,Windows NT SQL server for the development of the multimedia database. Finally, it introduces a new way to link multimedia information with the Windows ACCESS database, then compares the efficiency of this to the OLE solution.
