Kinematic Optimization of Redundant Robot Manipulators

  • Inverse kinematic solution of redundant robot manipulators is studied through null space optimization. Theoretical analysis and computer simulation showed that the method proposed here can be used to solve kinematic problems such as singularity free,obstacle avoidance etc., with optimum self-motion planning under the consideration of joint velocity limitations.
