An Efficient Searching Method for Norrow Resonances

A simple model has been proposed to show that the wave function of molecular ions in the classical forbidden region have a node if the energy is above the resonance level, and if the energy is below resonance, it exhibits no node. This feature allows one to simplify greatly the calculation of the resonance energy.
