Abstract
A new approach incorporating wavelet analysis in the two-dimensional freespace method of moments is presented, and formulae for the wavelet analysis of mement method for the two-dimensional electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems are deduced. A numerical example for an infinite conducting plate in freespace is provided, and discussions for the sparseness of impedance matrix, stability of computation and the wavelet functions's sensibility to singularity are given.
