Abstract
Starting from micro-and meso -structure of real solid materials, the theoretical framework scheme of micro-meso-macro multilevel nonequilibrium statishcal theory of fracture is given. The relationship among all the different levels in a fracture process is described. The roles of microcrack, grain boundary, crystal lattice and its electron cloud in the fracture process are discussed.
