Dynamic Analysis of an Omni-Impact Device for Use in Submunition Fuzes

  • A dynamic model of an omni-impact device with inertial mass isestablished. The arming vs. time relationship is calculated through inputacceleration parameters. It is shown that, for smaller input accelerations, theimpact sensitivity can be remarkably increased by using a high density inertialmass.
