A Study on Abrasion-Resistant Anti-Reflection Coating on a Thermoplastic Lens
A new coupling agent has ho employed tO form a three-layer abrasionresistant, anti-reflection coating on a thermoplastic lens chemically. The coating shows strong adhesion. Abrasion-resistance of the coated thermoplastic lens was found to have increased 15 times than when uncoated. Their spectral range of effective anti-reflection extends over a wide span within the visible range.
