Test Methods for Identifying Braking Force Distribution Between Motor Vehicle''''s Front and Read Axles

Based on a comparison and analysis of several test methods, by the practical tests on road and testers for identifying braking force distribution between front and rear axles, this paper introduces a road test method for identifying the braking force distribution. By comparing and analysing the data from the tests on road and tester, the results of analysis show that for the design and research departments, the road test described is simple in concept and easy to be carried out, and is the effective method for use. But for traffic monitoring and management departments, it is more appropriate to use the recommended method for tests on testers.
