A Mathematical Model of the Control System for Papermaking Processes

The control system for a papermakmg process is a dual-input/dual-output system. After supplying the pseudo random signals to the system and measuring the corresponding responses, the transfer function matrix of the system can be identified using the least squares parameter estimation method and the F-test method. Then a state space model can be derived.
