A Fuzzy Control System with Variable Structure Control

Fuzzy logic theory is used in the design of controllers of variable structure. Adopting a fuzzy logic table, a novel method of finding optimal sliding trace is presented, which makes the design of variable structure much more flexible and practical, and the response of the system proves to be speedy. The method was used in an AC motor servo system and the experiment resulted with desirable outcomes.
