On Loading of Coal Powder in Pneumatic Transportation

Abstract
Parameters affecting transporting load in pneumatic transportations are discussed, especially those factors influencing upon the transporting load such as the structure of test silo, loss of pressure in the system, type of connection, and ratio between times of powder vs. that of air are separately discussed. The results show that the system used works well regarding its design, connection, or air tightness. It is found that the more amount of coal powder in the test silo, the higher will be the transporting load. The transporting load is directly proportional to the transporting time per coal powder mass.
