Problems Involving Rates of Sandwich Construction When Considering the Bending Rigidity of Each Layers and Transverse Elasticity of the Core

Fundamental equations governing the behavior of a plate having sandwich construction are derived. Bending rigidity of the facing layers and the core as well as the transverse elasticity of the core are considered. Variational procedure is used to obtain the fundamental equations.
