Abstract
The two key problems in inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging; phase compensation and small - angle imaging are studied. A procedure called the magnitude-only imaging method is proposed and proved theoretically. This method is able to solve phase compensation problem completely. Further, a simple optimization method is proposed for obtaining super azimuth resolution. Efficiency of the proposed methods are supported either by computer simulation or by experiments.
