Numerical Modeling of Detonation Using High Resolution Schemes

Abstract
On the basis of high resolution theories an improved form of the fully conservative finite difference schemes for one-dimensional lagrangian equations is presented. The one-dimensional lagrangian hydrodynamic code SIN made by C.L. Mader is improved according to this method and initially fulfill applying the high resolution schemes in modeling of detonation, especially in condensed explosives. The numerical results of piston detonating PBX show that the improved schemes have high accuracy of shock formation.
