The authors have developed a method for the design of dielectric wide-band nonpolarizing prism beam splitters utilizing the principle of frustrated total reflection. In this paper are discussed the nonpolarizing condition for prism beam splitters with dielectric layers and some conclusions in thek design. The theory is proved correct.
