Safety Techniques in the Screw Loading of TNT

The unsafe factors in the process of the screw loading of TNT are analyzed . It is found that the plasticity of military TNT does not meet the requirements of the screw loading . Thus , a new kind of TNT mixture i.e. modified TNT is studied . A large mumber of experimental tests show that the combined property of the modified TNT is satisfactory to design requirement . It lays a good foundation for a technical innovation in the safe screw loading of TNT at room temperature .
