Holographic Storage of Original Documents

A new method using lensless Fourier transformation holograms to store documents directly is proposed. It not only has all kinds of the advantages of Fourier transformation holograms but also dispenses with the difficult step of microphotographing the original documents . Recording system is very simple and thin beams can be used in the reconstruction .
