AN INVESTIGATION ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MECHANICAL-HYDRAULIC FUEL INJECTION ADVANCER FOR 6V150 DIESELS

This paper describes the working priciples and mathematical model of the mechanical-hyraulic fuel injection advancer for the 6V150diesel engine, the computer simulation results of the working processes as wellas the static and dynamic characteristic charts of the advancer obtained experimentally. The simulation charts and experimental charts proved to be essentially identical. The research results could be applied to other diesel engines using the same type of advancer.
