A NEW SCHEME OF EXHAUST GAS FOR DRAWING DUST

This paper describes a new scheme for drawing dust from the dust-collector of diesel engine scroll air filters . It compares favorably to the ejector, with many salient points of merit. Gas flow in the diffusion pipe will have a positive pressure gradient, and making use of the differential pressure, dust can be drawn from the dust-collector. Besides, the new scheme will improve the conditions of operation, both of ths diesel engine and of the turbocharger.Paper shows the results of tests and presents the calculate program.
