Abstract
The paper gives an analysis on the random errors caused by vibration signals sampled directly and input to the computer. Formulas for the control of random phase errors are developed and curve fitting is adopted in solving for the errors caused by rounding-off in the ADC (analog-digital converter). This ensures that the vibration parameters as sampled directly and input to the computer sustain a high measured precision. Precision test has been taken and the test data correspond well with those from theoretical analysis.
