THE CATALYTIC EFFECTS OF COPPER COMPOUNDS WITH VARIOUS SURFACE PROPERTIES ON THE COMBUSTION OF AMMONIUM PERCHLORATE

  • The catalytic effects of copper compounds calcined under various condition on the combustion of ammonium perchlorate ( AP ) are studied. Changes in crystal pattern of the catalysts before and after calcination are determined with X-ray diffractometer. surface properties of the catalysts are tested with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). Catalytic mechanisms regarding the surface properties of the catalysts upon ths combustion of AP are explained.
