A X-BAND CaAsFET VCO DESIGN WITH CAD METHOD

A CAD method of microwave transistor oscillator is proposed. The negative resistance property of the microwave transistors and several kinds of feedback circuits for both single and broadband frequency are taken into consideration. Specially, focussing the discussion on the reactance com- pensation varactor tunning VCO, this paper gives the design of lumped element tunning circuit.A X-band GaAsFET VCO from the results of computer optimization have been made. Compared with design of computer, the experimental result is quite well.
