GEOMETRIC CALCULATION AND APPLICATION OF WISHBONE-TYPE SUSPENSION

Based on the geometric theory, automobile Wishbone-typs independent front suspension is analyzed, and a calculation method is given for the determination of coordinates of each jointed point on guided arms and parameters of wheel alignment during entire buffer travel of wheel. A micro-computer program for present algorithm is worked out. The closing of calculation reselt compared with experiment data proves that the algorithm presented in this article has satisfied accuracy. The program is short and simple, so it is suitable for popularization and application.
