STUDY OF THE MECHANISM OF THERMAL DECOMPOSITION OF CYCLOTETRAME- THYLENE TETRANITRAMINE BY USING TIME OF FLIGHT MASS SPECTROMETER

  • Studies on the thermal decomposition of cyciotetrametylone tetrani-tramine(HMX) were preformed by use time of flight mass spectrometer. In order to prevent the sublimated HMX entering the ion source, a decomposition reactor was applied. The mass spectrums of decomposition of HMX with different temperatures were obtained. A new view point of mechanism on the thermal decomposition of HMX was gived.
