AN INVESTIGATION OF THE "METHOD OF BALANCED STATE DESIGN" FOR GEAR ROLLING DIES

Based on study and analysis of designing gear rolling dies on the basic of equal length of flash contact lines on both flanks i.e. with null "phase difference" or in a "balanced state" , the article presents "method of balanced state design" to calculate design parameters for gear rolling dies based on the balanced state of gearing angle, a computer program has been written to implement such a design process and a concrete example is given.
