STEREO PAIR HOLOGRAMS--THEIR IMPLEMENTATION AND DISPLAY

The main idea of the stereo pair hologram is to reserve only one "stereo pair",and to reconstruct two images using the principle of holography,so that the left eye can only see the image corresponding to the picture taken from the left and the right eye correspond to what taken from the right .Because the picture may be taken with ordinary cameras under incoherent illumination, the size of the object is not necessarily limitedIn this paper,two methods of making the stereo pair hologram are introduced and the formulas for hologram stereo magnification in the two methods are derived. The formulas show that the stereo magnification depends on the length of the base line taken and on the focal length of the camera, but is independent of the distance between the object and the camera.
