NONLINEAR BENDING OF RECTANGULAR SANDWICH PLATES

This paper accounts for large deflections of two face layers of rectangular sandwich plates. The fundamental equations of nonlinear bending of the plates are derived. Furthermore the problems of nonlinear bending of the plates with all edges clamped are solved. The formula which governs the relations of the deflections with the intensity of the loads is obtained. The formula derived are convenient for applications.
