基于自然背景的热成像系统信息量评价模型

Comprehensive Performance Information Quantity Model of Thermal Imaging Systems Based on Natural Background

  • 摘要: 通常MRTD-CW模型用于评价热成像系统综合性能,但不能评价自然背景对系统性能的影响. 比对TTP模型,对 MRTD-CW模型进行修正,引入自然背景参量,建立基于自然背景的热成像系统综合性能信息量评价模型,以典型场景为例用噪声均方差计算法则给出了自然背景参量的计算方法. 含自然背景噪声参量的MRTD-CW模型能计算出不同实验场景热成像系统获得的目标综合信息量,进一步确定的热成像系统最佳角放大率与TTP模型计算值非常接近. 实验结果证明引入自然背景参量的MRTD-CW模型能有效评价自然背景对热成像系统综合性能的影响.

     

    Abstract: The ordinary MRTD-CW model has been used to evaluate the comprehensive performance of thermal imaging systems, but can't be used to evaluate the influence of natural background on system performance. In contrast to the targeting task performance model (TTP), a modified MRTD-CW model was proposed by introducing the natural background parameters to reflect the influence of nature background on comprehensive performance of thermal imaging systems. The natural background parameters were calculated by noise standard deviation based on typical scenes viewing experiments as example. MRTD-CW model with the natural background parameters was used to calculate the target comprehensive information quantity acquired by thermal imaging systems at different scenes viewing experiments, and the optimal angle magnification calculated by the modified MRTD-CW model was very close to that of TTP. The experimental results show that MRTD-CW model with the natural background parameters can analyse effectively the influence of nature background on comprehensive performance of thermal imaging systems.
