Abstract:
From the view of trip chain, this paper constructs a structural equation model which reflects the relationship among citizens' commuter trip chain, family commuter environment, individual activities time-spatial constraints, and activities diversity. The presented method is adopted to analyze the significant similarities and differences of residents' commuter trip with different residence-workplace space in Kunming City. In similarity aspects, no matter how the citizens' residence-workplace space changes, they concerned more about the travel time than distance, while the influence of family environment and activities diversity become stabilized. In difference aspects, compared to the people who work and live in downtown, the ones who work and live in crossed districts are more strongly influenced by activities time-spatial constraints. It is caused by the imbalance of the residence-workplace ends' accessibility. In other words, the residents must consider both the residence-workplace accessibility and commuting activities' time-spatial constraints, so as to make the right travel decisions.
