Abstract:
A preliminary research method of capturingdriving motion data based on BVH was proposed. The format of BVH files was analyzedand the meaning of the data in the BVH files was introduced. The driver's coordinate systemin a state of keeping driving was established by using the skeleton information in BVH. The forward kinematics method was used to compute the motion capture data. With the analysis and processing of motion capture data, the complex motion data istransformed intospecific space absolute coordinate. Finally, the driving motion can be described quantitatively. This study can help to understand the physical parameter of driving motion and driver behavior.
