一种基于小波能量分析的目标识别方法

A Target Identification Method Based on Wavelet Energy Analysis

  • 摘要: 针对坦克目标与主要干扰(金属废弃物和可能出现的水面)的毫米波辐射特性在时域内难以区分的问题,采用小波分解的方法提取毫米波信号在不同尺度上的能量信息,以概貌分量能量和细节集中特征能量层为识别依据,通过统计的方法设计了识别门限. 理论分析及仿真结果表明,该方法是有效可行的.

     

    Abstract: The method of identifying tank target using wavelet theory has been studied in this paper. It is known that, in time domain,the millimeter wave (MMW) radiation feature of tank target is similar to its main interferences (e.g.,metal waste and possible water surface),so it is hard to distinguish them. To solve this problem,a wavelet decomposition method has been adopted to extract the energy information from millimeter-wave signals at different scales. On the basis of general energy component and detail centralizing characteristic energy level,a corresponding identifying threshold has been worked out using statistical method. Theoretical analysis and the results of simulation show that this method is feasible and effective.
