An On-Line Procedural Method for Image Object Cutout via Intelligent User Interface

  • 摘要: 提出一种建立在智能人机接口即智能画笔上的采用即时局部信息的过程式对象分割方法. 当用户驱动鼠标对目标对象的边界进行跟踪时,智能画笔动态地根据图像局部统计特征估计每个即时时刻对象分割计算所需的待分割区域、外观样本、对象轮廓等即时局部信息,通过能量函数将各种信息结合,利用图割优化算法快速计算局部分割结果并及时反馈. 随用户对对象边界的跟踪结束而完成对象分割. 实验结果验证了该方法在交互便捷性和用户对分割过程控制方面的优势,以及在分割效率和准确度等方面的优良性能.

     

    Abstract: An on-line procedural method built upon the intelligent user interface-intelligent brush for extracting the object from image is proposed. While the user drives the mouse to trace along object boundary, the brush dynamically estimates the optimized region to be segmented and adjusts stroke properties which provide local information at each instant. Information of appearance, contour, location and contrast are used and combined by formulizing them into a single energy function, then the local result is obtained and the feedback is given in time via graph cut algorithm. After tracing the whole boundary, the object is extracted. The experimental results verify its correctness and effectiveness of the developed approach, and show its better performance in efficiency and accuracy.
